Photo Essay – Family Apple Picking New York Posted on October 16, 2014 • 9 comments Posted under Apple picking, Travel
An enchanting post that evokes the essence of fall. Loved meeting you and your family at the apple orchard! Reply ↓
Living in Southern California, I seize every opportunity to experience ‘true’ Fall, just like the ones I grew up enjoying. Reply ↓
Beautiful pictures Mary! What a wonderful time of year to experience apple picking with your family and Carson. Reply ↓
Your photos are the stuff movies are made of….. The COLORS are so beautiful. Sharp primary colors – and all of you in black. Feels cold, crisp, and strangely quiet. The crazy number of fallen and rotting apples lining the rows is suprising to me. Are they somehow gathered and used for mulching? Thank you for the “Fall’ish” experience. Your Always-Sunny-in-CA buddy. Reply ↓
We too wondered what happens to all the apples left behind on the ground. So many were still in perfect condition. Perhaps they find their way into apple cider. Reply ↓
